The actress from ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’, Sarah Michelle Gellar, said in an interview with E!News that she supports her friend Shannen Doherty after an old backstage feud on the series ‘Charmed’.
The statement came after Holly Marie Combs (actress from ‘Charmed’) said on Doherty’s podcast ‘Let’s Be Clear’ that their castmate, Alyssa Milano, had requested the actress’s dismissal from the series.
According to Combs, Milano had said “either her or me”. Milano, however, denied the claims of her former colleague. “I had no power to fire anyone,” she wrote in a post on Instagram earlier in the month.
Sarah Michelle Gellar told E!News that “it was a tough moment.” “I was there. I think Shannen is just sharing her truths in general now,” added the actress.
“I’ll support her. I know it wasn’t the easiest moment, but she’s a different person now,” declared the actress.
Gellar also said she is proud of Doherty, who is battling breast cancer that recently spread to her brain.
“Our relationship grew because we grew. We had experiences, and life is complicated. And we managed to experience it together, so you grow together,” Gellar shared.
